Three reason why I might be successful in the career is that I love working with kids, so I would enjoy everyday of work. Another reason is that it would make me feel great about myself and make me love my job when I could help a kid get through tough times, or other struggles. The last reason is that I would be interested in what people want to do with their lives, and I would like to help in that decision and would like seeing the outcome and how they did in the future.
Three reasons I might not be successful as a school counselor is because I sometimes have a big heart and don't know how I would handle problems like abuse at home and other areas that might make me furious or sad. Another reason is that helping high school kids make decisions about their future is a huge job, and could make a break a kids whole life. I don't know if I would be qualified enough to do that. The last reason is that I might not be successful as a school counselor is that in high school I haven't take hardly any courses that would help me develop skills needed in this area like, child development, ethnic studies, or parenting.
